Most of the wood used for these pens has been harvested in Wisconsin. Black Ash, Black Ash Burl, Yellow Birch, Buckthorn, Cedar, Maple Burl, Spalted Buckthorn, Spalted Maple, Spalted Cherry, Sumac, and Corn-Cob are from my son-in-law’s farm in Sullivan WI. Cherry, Oak, Plum, and Walnut are from a neighbor’s yard in Madison WI. Cherry Burl is from my son’s farm and other locations in Dane County WI. Osage Orange(Missouri) and Oak Burl(Kansas) are “imported” The accent bands are Corian, Tru Stone, Pakkawood, Pickguard, Antler ,Bone,and Fiber Washers All of the pens are made using the slimline style kits which use a Cross refill.
MY FIRST PEN
	The first pen I turned is from a purchased Zebrawood blank and uses the slimline kit in the standard method.
